The Opportunity

Sustainable development is a hot topic and this agency has developed a dedicated team to conduct both evaluation and research within this area. Covering areas such as gender equality, climate change, governance and education, you’ll have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in a wide variety of studies for charities, NGO’s and government bodies. This role has a strong international focus and there is likely to be scope for travel as your role within the team evolves and progresses. There will also be the opportunity to work alongside and partner with colleagues in both the UK and International offices drawing on their expertise in specialist subject matters. As a Consultant, you’ll be fully supported by a Project Director, but will be encouraged to deliver and manage strands of work conducting evaluations on the effectiveness of policies and programmes. Contributing towards the development of thought leadership pieces and developing new business propositions is also likely to feature.

You’ll be confident in designing and delivering monitoring, evaluation, research or consultancy projects in this field, and be comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Other relevant experience is likely to include previous experience working in a developing country as well as fluency in additional languages although neither are essential.

An excellent starting salary and a comprehensive benefits package are also on offer, as well as plenty of scope for future promotion and development opportunities as you make your mark within the team.
