Our client is a market leading Shopper Insights agency and they are looking to recruit a sharp thinking Research Director. Their dedicated research team is a happy band, who shares a common bond – they like to challenge the status quo!
They are also all passionate about the way people shop and how retailers and manufactures engage them. A business founded not by researchers but by specialist within category, sales and marketing roles they speak their clients language. Experts at bringing to life the path to purchase and purchase decision hierarch across channel, mission and occasion, they help their clients interpret shopper insights in way that has a real impact on their business; in a way that allows action and change. They then help their clients track the success of these strategies.
As an Research Director you will have the gravitas to take the lead with clients, inspiring confidence and ensuring valued partnership. A master practitioner when it comes to shopper research your will have first class tool kit that is crammed to bursting with latest shopper techniques and passion for developing new ones. Delivery studies from A – Z, whilst overseeing the junior team, you will have commercial smarts and will be happy managing budgets.
So what do you need in your basket?
• 8 years + shopper insights experience
• Previous experience of working with high profile retail and FMCG accounts
• Confident negotiation and persuasion skills
• High level business / understanding and insight
• Strong knowledge of category, shopper and market research
• Strong proposal writing, analysis and presentation skills
• Leads by example
• Nurture / develop team members through coaching and performance management
