A rare opportunity for a Data Scientist to join their Advanced Analytics team of this international innovation foundation. This organisation is at the centre of many international public policy debates surrounding tech issues and advises at the highest levels in government, industry and academia. Based in Central London, they are the leading international community and platform for members of the public to share their views and opinions surrounding the creative & hi-tech industries which in turn can influence government policy and investment into these sectors.

As a Data Scientist you will team-up with a like-minded unit of applied statisticians to build innovative analytical and insights-driven solutions from mammoth datasets. Adopting a creative approach to your analysis, you will implement everything from developing algorithms, data pipelines through to making concrete contributions to insights and products. Excellent knowledge of R, Python and/or Machine Learning is essential combined with good communication skills as you will translate the data into actionable recommendations and advise non-statistical stakeholders in Public/Policy and Tech sectors, who will look to you for the meaning behind the numbers.

You will likely have a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Maths or similar. More importantly, you will be proven in solving large data and analytical puzzles to generate actionable, articulate insights plus have the ability to communicate these insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Packages/skills-wise a great knowledge of R, Python and Machine Learning are essential.
