A role with a difference! With year on year growth, this independent, mid-sized agency has a unique offering in the Australian market, specialising in brand, communications, media & film research they own the hearts and minds of their clients.

Working for a dream portfolio of clients - airline, major insurance, top grocery, entertainment, film studios & NFP thrown in there for good social measure, you'll enjoy some really vibrant, disruptive and varied client business challenges which can only be tackled by a true understanding of the customer.

This role will combine a mixture of qualitative & quantitative market research methods, crafted to suit individual client needs. Your insights and ways of communicating your client strategy are of paramount importance, as the agency has a reputation for 'full-house' client debriefs which are fun, ingenious and intuitive. You'll need to be a storyteller, with a lean-forward attitude to client's strategic insights needs!

Why & what are we hiring?

This is a growth role for a Senior Account Manager to work closely alongside the Melbourne director.

You'll share a passion and enthusiasm for delivering great client work, in a full-service research consultancy role.

Working as member of close-knit interstate team, you'll be influential in running research projects from pitch to final presentation - brand & communications tracking, brand positioning, digital & social listening, brand architecture, cultural insights & semiotics and film/script audience testing.

The focus is on: relationship building, research design, strong project management, synthesis of information, inspiring writing and excellent presenting skills.

With a strong operations and technical team behind you, you'll be set up for success and allowed to focus on the consulting. Having said that, a solid technical research background and a love of data and tools and methods is still highly advantageous.

Candidate checklist:

• Do you have previous market research agency experience?
• Ideally a combination of qualitative & quantitative market research experience
• Previous success in building client rapport and exceeding expectations
• A juggler of projects and priorities
• Passionate about consumer insights, behaviour & brand growth
• Ideally prior experience in brand research/advertising research
