Business Development Executive - Sydney - Research & Consulting
$60,000-$75,000 + super + commission
Growth has created a new opportunity in an international consulting firm, leaders in the provision of global business intelligence and strategic market analysis.
The company have forty years of experience working with developing and emerging markets, and their customised and syndicated outputs provide major players from a host of consumer + b2b industries with information vital for making key business decisions.
This is a new Business Development Executive role to work across either the FMCG, education or advertising industries. What sets this role apart from the rest is that it’s all about consultative (as opposed to transactional) selling.
You will be working closely with your colleagues (Sales experts and Account Managers) to deliver knowledge and consultative guidance with a range of FMCG businesses across the Australian and NZ markets.
By fully acquainting yourself with their services and credentials, you will be able to manage relationships with a target group of key accounts, immersing yourself in the businesses so you can identify and pursue relevant opportunities, deliver solutions and ensure optimal client servicing.
Ideally you will have:
- Sales or client account management experience, gained in a market research or professional services firm (other experience will be considered!
- No fear in picking up the phone and meeting clients
- Hunger, drive and determination to achieve targets
