Qualitative Research Manager – Shanghai – Based on-site with client

This is a new role at an award winning business known across Asia and Europe for their ability to couple technical rigour with strategic thinking. They have established many proprietary techniques in the areas of NPD, product innovation, segmentation, product testing and sensory.
The established research agency has a longstanding and successful track record of servicing multinational clients and attracting the best talent to continue the evolution of their services and credentials. One of their longest-standing clients in APAC is now looking for a committed Qualitative Research Manager to embed themselves in the organisation, running an exciting research programme where you will have involvement at all stages of the research process.
Specifically, you will take full responsibility for the management of a large online community covering a multitude of categories. You will work alongside and collaboratively with the client’s internal sensory team, for the most part being based at their Shanghai office but it’s also likely you’ll be required to spend some time at the agency as well.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English
- Qualitative research experience gained in a market research agency
- Exposure to digital/online techniques preferable
- Able to analyse quantitative data
- Knowledge/genuine interest in the FMCG industry & sensory research
