Role purpose:

Flourish in this client facing role as an expert in FMCG trends and innovation. You’ll capitalise on your background in the FMCG markets to join a small cohesive team of highly skilled experts responsible for regional Asia Pacific Insights, but part and parcel of a much larger global insight business.

Your focus will be particularly for the Australia and New Zealand markets. On a day to day basis analysing, gathering and collating significant data from multiple sources to generate key insights in to what is happening within the FMCG space.

Your major responsibilities will be to:

• Generate content for monthly articles on consumers/markets, product innovation and snapshot case studies, all with a strong strategic focus, always looking got pull out implications for the agency’s clients
• Deliver onsite presentations directly to clients as part of their consultancy service to bring trends to themes to life
• Support client servicing teams by sharing knowledge and helping them answer client queries
• Promote Consulting projects such as brand strategy & audit, trend immersions, strategic market evaluations, opportunity landscaping and NPD

The goal is to provide your prestigious clientele with fast and accurate intelligence enabling them to stay ahead of the market and to make informed decisions at the crucial moment.
This role requires an FMCG industry expert with local (ANZ) market intelligence. You will need to have your finger on the pulse as to what is happening with the FMCG space and boast skills in research, data interpretation, synthesising information and reporting. In addition to your written comms skills you will also have excellent verbal comms skills to deliver insightful and engaging presentations.

Local travel and to SE Asia is also a perk as the Sydney team works closely with their bigger Asia counterparts.

The ideal candidate will have solid industry experience (agency or clientside) likely in FMCG/consumer markets, brand strategy, marketing or research/intelligence or a consulting role.
