They are currently looking to hire a Manager to spearhead their Insights & Analytics function in the APAC region. Part of a global network of in-house research and analytics specialists (30 to date and growing fast) you remit is to manage and grow the function locally.
As a wider business, this top management consultancy advises global business leaders on their most critical issues and opportunities (organisation, marketing, strategy, operations, technology, transformations, mergers & acquisitions, digital and advanced analytics), across all industries and geographies.
The role of the Insights and Analytics teams is to provide the Consultants and Partners with the research and analytics support they need to provide best in practice advice.
The work the team covers sits across three key areas:
1. Primary Research and Consulting
2. Big Data
3. Marketing Science and Advanced Analysis
Your remit will be to deliver services across all three areas. A hand's on role, whilst it is not expected that you are in expert in all three you must have an excellent quantitative tool kit and strong analytical and data skills.
You will work with the case teams to determine the optimal methods to utilize data to provide practical, value-added analysis to the client. You will set-up research design and provide project scoping for primary research and advanced analytics projects. You will keep abreast of new and current primary research and statistical techniques.
Whilst you will be part of an internal support function, this role is client facing and you will participate in client development calls and meetings with Partners on primary research and analytics projects. You will also provide training to consultants and managers, promoting the unit's services internally.
7+ years of experience with market research and/or statistical analysis in a business, market research or social science environment.
Ideally experience of managing and hiring a team.
Experience explaining and performing a variety of statistical and data mining techniques (latent class segmentations, discrete choice/conjoint, multivariate and logistic regressions, decision trees, and factor and correspondence/MDS analysis).
Strong analytical, mathematical, interpersonal and communication skills.
An ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and an ability to work independently
Some travel required
Strong experience with SPSS or SAS
