Qualitative Research Director – Thailand - Highly commercial international opportunity

LOCATION: Thailand

SALARY: USD$8,000 – USD$11,000/month plus annual bonus and excellent benefits.

This Qualitative Research Director opportunity is with an independent agency solely dedication to understanding the Asian market in depths unbeknown to their competitors. By tailoring their regional expertise to the niche requirements of their FMCG client’s, they produce valuable insights on consumer lives and on-going trends specific to Asian context. Since they opened their first office over 15 years ago they have experienced significant growth and now operate in over 7 key Asian markets, this role is very much a product of this on-going success.

By joining an agency recognised as an expert in the FMCG space you will have access to some of the biggest global names in the game. As the most senior researcher in the team you will oversee in projects in the department. You will be given the chance to have a hands-on involvement in international qualitative projects that span a number of regions and will further your commercial understanding of businesses that operate on a global scale. You will consult with key decision makers and play a pivotal role in formulating commercial strategy. You will also be expected to monitor the financial health of the department and ensure that all targets are being met. Although you will be given a wealth of opportunity to challenge yourself in fresh ways, this role isn’t solely about your individual development. You will responsible for guiding and mentoring a bright and aspirational team at varying stages of their career and will be considered by your team as an expert in the qualitative space.

To be considered it’s important that:

• You have a solid foundation of experience working in the FMCG sector
• In depth exposure to the processes of qualitative research – at least 6 years
• A passion for management. You will be responsible for a team who will rely on your expertise for their individual growth. You must be able to show you are a willing mentor.
• An international mindset and experience working on international projects.
