In brief, they work with government departments and agencies nationally and internationally, providing high-level research which seeks to improve education and training and make a positive difference.
As Research Manager, you will be at the centre of an eclectic team, contributing your expertise to writing a variety of independent and persuasive research proposals. You will also undertake a variety of tasks including chairing bid proposals and pitching development meetings, helping the wider team to come up with initiatives and ideas, and supporting the general project management of successful proposals.
Ideally you will be an experienced social researcher, comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and articulate and confident communicator, and able to manage competing priorities.
