Research and Data Analyst – Media / Advertising
£22,000 - £30,000 + Benefits – London
One of the world’s largest planning and buying media agencies are globally reputed when it comes to understanding how brands can connect with people’s lifestyles and the environment they engage with – they use this knowledge to manage their clients’ advertising helping them to invest in the most effective media solutions to drive revenue generation. The agency has two core functions - media planning and buying - but they also work very closely with communications agencies and media owners and these functions and relationships are complemented by a range of other specialist internal business units. One such unit that supports the agencies activities is the Insight team.
The Insight team work directly with both clients as well as internal stakeholders to evaluate advertising effectiveness and to provide strategic guidance to the planning team. In order to complement the current skill set of this team, there is currently an opportunity for Research and Data Analyst to come on board. The role will have two key focusses – firstly you will be championing the use of various sources of data, interpreting the results and drawing out the meaningful insight. Secondly, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in full service campaign evaluation projects.
In order to be able to hit the ground running in this role you will already have some commercial analysis experience gained within the research /media / marketing industry (strong Excel skills.) Personality and company cultural fit is going to be just as important as technical skill set and the team are keen to find an individual with a shared enthusiasm for the media sector who will relish the opportunity to work in a highly creative and “buzzy” agency environment.
The starting salary will reflect your proven experience and relevant background and this role is initially offered on a 12 month contract basis.
