My client is a market research and strategic consulting firm. They look for people who are interested in popular culture, brands, marketing & advertising and get excited by the prospect of researching these issues using rigorous primary research techniques.

They now want their socks knocked off by a Research Consultant who will work primarily on quantitative projects across a variety of industry sectors. This role will allow you to get involved in all stages of the research process; client liaison, defining needs, designing surveys, project management, data analysis, insight generation, presenting & consulting. Projects are all bespoke and will be broadly across branding, advertising, new product development and usage and attitude for a multi-sector client base.

There is flexibility around level but they are ideally looking for anywhere around 3-6years experience as a guide – the responsibilities would then flex to meet your level of experience. What is most important for them is a hunger to learn and a curiosity for data & insights, consumer & brand.

You’ll ideally have worked for consumer clients (FMCG, tech, media, finance) You must have good academics and good SPSS skills and be locally based in Australia with full working rights.
