Research Manager – Quant Consumer Boutique
£30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits – London
This boutique quantitative consultancy pride themselves in being able to offer their clients an in-depth understanding of their consumers and a fresh perspective. They draw upon a wide range of information whether it be quantitative or qualitative or social media data, connecting it and distilling the data to make a compelling story for their clients, helping them to answer some of their toughest questions. Although a relatively recently established agency, they are part of a larger group and are able to draw on a wide range of expertise such as modellers, software experts and mathematicians in order to give their clients a much broader perspective.
The team’s knowledge and consumer expertise coupled with their ability to respond quickly and thoughtfully to a client’s brief, has ensured they have grown quickly and that clients keep coming back again and again. They understand their client’s business challenges and work closely with them delivering robust and insightful research utilising creative, bespoke quantitative approaches. A large proportion of the agency’s work is within the Media sector, but they also work with a broader client base spanning Retail and Finance. They are experts in understanding the consumer decision journey, and are well versed in helping to position and develop brands - they also conduct a lot of international research.
Team fit is going to be very important here – you’ll need to be comfortable working in a close-knit team where you will have plenty of opportunity to work closely alongside industry experts. You’ll be confident dealing with clients and getting stuck-in at every stage of the project life-cycle, willing to put your ideas forward when it comes to proposal writing and project debrief (fresh thinking and new ideas are always welcomed!) An ad-hoc quantitative background will work best within the team, as well as a willingness to embrace new quantitative approaches.
The starting salary will reflect your previous experience and future potential within the role. There is also going to be strong room for future growth and development as this agency continues to grow and build on its impressive client portfolio.
