As a consultative Business Development Manager expand on global sales for this respected provider of research, analysis, consulting and data within the smart technology sector. Overseeing C-suite relationships with leading brands in business and technology, you’ll ensure delivery portfolio delivery re the aforementioned alongside sponsorship opportunities for key events too.
It’s a great opportunity keen to leave behind the ‘pressure cooker/boiler room’ sales environments of other market information/research consulting houses and instead join a respected international group whose sales team operates at a more esoteric/consultative level, works to very achievable targets (which are proven as being made consistently) and encourages self-starters to thrive – even better is you’ll face little competition in this particular area of smart tech you’re covering. Ideally you’ll have a credible (and stable) sales background from either the market research/intelligence or software sectors, and be looking for the kind of role where you get to work more closely with analyst/consultants to enhance the offering whilst at the same time leaving behind the fakery and bravado of most other sales floors in this space.
