£40 - 50,000 plus Commission; UK Remote
Really exciting opportunity in a growth orientated internationally renowned research & insights consultancy for an experienced BD Manager. Joining a burgeoning commercial team and focusing on UK and international clients, you'll be promoting their full portfolio of quantitative and qualitative data collection and consultancy services.
Location is less important over capability; you'll be selling across a range of verticals although this group is particularly known for its work with the healthcare/pharmaceutical, media, technology and FMCG markets. It will be a mixture of new business development and account management, at first weighted more towards new business with in time a leaning to account management as your client base expands. Enjoying a period of growth, the group is keen to increase its business development team with candidates who can in theory be based anywhere in the UK - the group has a UK/Europe/USA presence overall.
Ideally you'll have strong experience selling market research/insights led services (sector experience less important), and apply consultancy over transactional selling techniques. This is an opportune moment to join, given the group's ongoing expansionist plans, and it reflects a buoyancy in the research & insights sector that more agile consultancies are taking advantage of given they're less encumbered that the 'red tape' and outdated practices of legacy rivals.
