Associate Director – Energy and Environment – Economic and Impact Evaluation
£45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits – London / Remote working
Deliver research and evaluation projects within one of the most innovative and fast moving areas of policy both in the UK and Internationally! This specialist team respond to the needs of government helping to design, deliver and evaluate policies in a range of areas such as decarbonisation, electrification and energy efficiency.
As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for the management of large-scale impact and economic evaluations. These will commonly assess the impacts of government interventions on economic growth, markets, RD&I, jobs and skills, investment, trade and national leadership and reputation.
More specifically you will get involved in:
• Ensuring projects are delivered to budget and timescale; developing and maintaining client relationships; designing and adapting
project plans that meet their needs; selecting and managing a team effectively and efficiently; planning ahead and managing
project risks; delivering accessible and concise reporting outputs, with clear conclusions and recommendations; and managing
quality with the support of the project director.
• Designing evaluation approaches, frameworks and methodologies at both bid and inception stage
• Strategic decision making and people management
• Playing a key role in developing the agency’s position and reputation in the market
• Technical leadership, effective feedback and coaching.
