Exciting opportunity for a Sales (New Business) Director to promote project opportunities for this renowned social research organisation!
Working closely with senior research professionals, as New Business Director you'll lead a small commercial team of professionals who help the researchers write great bids and win work. Key will be to open up new markets and partnerships, and redefine the organisation's offering - making sure they are exciting, relevant and competitive. In addition you'll provide leadership to project teams across survey research and policy research.
You'll ideally have previous knowledge of social research (or similar within a market research context) and perhaps be a Research Director whose role now is increasingly new business orientated, and thus would like to transition into a full commercial role. Equally you will be an experienced Sales Leader from the research industry with knowledge of bidding for contracts and grants, and a track record of winning work, plus you'll have managed clients and stakeholders at a senior level;
