Senior Research Consultant  - Telcos, tech, automotive, healthcare

Job description

Experts across both B2B and B2C research, this team utilise a range of methodologies to deliver high-impact insights and strategies to their clients. Specialist areas include Technology, Telecos, Automotive, Built Environment, Healthcare (OTC), Social, Retail, and Financial Services, and project vary hugely from quick turnaround local pieces to larger scale multimarket and international work. They are experts at weaving together a range of data streams (primary, secondary, customer, business, etc.) and love taking a tailored and thoughtful approach to their client briefs.

The Role
They are looking for an ambitious, driven market research consultant with a solid grounding in agency life, who is keen to take the next step in their career.
You’ll be working end to end on customised projects across a range of clients, industries, and business issues. You will be hands-on and client-facing role - no two days are the same!
Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Taking client briefs and understanding their needs in the context of business and broader industry trends
  • Inputting into proposals
  • Managing a range of market research projects
  • Conduct data analysis in Q and/or SPSS
  • Developing relevant and coherent insights, implications and actions
  • Managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentoring & developing junior staff
Some project examples include:
Helping an automotive manufacturer wanting to break into different markets across the globe
A large program investigating the skill shortages in Australia and how to retain and train a cross-section of the population
Thought leadership, brand and npd work for a leading tech company
Working with a large developer to push sustainability within residential developments
About you
  • At least 3 years of market research agency experience (quant focused)
  • Previous experience with SPSS and/or Q
  • A passion for learning, seeking a role that is hands-on with day-to-day variety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
