Quantitative Associate Director - Insights Consulting

Job description

The opportunity:
As an Associate Director within the Quantitative team of this elite Insights Consultancy, you’ll solve commercial business problems – translating the complex to simple by harnessing and delivering sophisticated quantitative data.
Leading projects from initial pitch to final presentation, you’ll partner with senior decision-makers at many of Australia’s most prestigious retail, technology, and services brands and be seen as the go-to for delivering insights that shape growth.
Associate Directors have a seat at the leadership table, contributing to the growth and strategic direction of the business. Equally confident with hands-on data analysis as you are with strategic storytelling, c-suite presentations, and mentoring juniors, you’ll thrive working in an agile and consultative environment.
You’ll love the variety of agency life, sinking your teeth into a mixture of strategic ad-hoc and influential trackers across – segmentation, concept testing, pricing, sentiment, innovation, customer experience, new product development and branding.

Independently owned, they are a boutique (but expanding rapidly) team of c20+ thinkers from diverse backgrounds who thrive within a culture of collaboration.
They’re selective about the work and clients they partner with – they choose interesting, meaningful and challenging projects. All projects are fully customised, meaning you’ll have exposure to various projects across hugely interesting topics – customer experience, innovation, concept development, segmentation, demand forecasting, branding, behaviour change, and innovation.
Your success is their success, and this is reflected in their amazing employee benefits – tailored learning & development, additional holidays, hybrid working, state-of-the-art offices and technology, strategy away days, early finishes and fast-track career progression.

We’re looking for proven quantitative researchers who can combine advanced quantitative analytics with creative thinking through a strategic mindset, deepening relationships with stakeholders across all levels.

The essentials:
  • 5+ years’ experience in market research agency consulting
  • Proven experience managing ad-hoc projects from pitch through to presentation.
  • Quantitative capabilities (SPSS/Q)
  • Commercial acumen & ability to grow and win new business
  • Strategic mindset & strong interpersonal skills
  • An ability to translate complex methods and tools into simple solutions
