The team of 10+ qualitative and quantitative researchers, strategists and foodies spend their days listening to consumers from all walks of life, understanding how they see the world, and translating this into recommendations and points of difference the business grow share of heart and share of wallet.
Projects are exceptionally varied, from testing new store layouts to brand development, cultural segmentation, shopper journey mapping, price optimisation, new product development and visual revolution.
The role: Qualitative Research and Insights Strategist
As a result of new client wins, growth, and internal promotions, the Melbourne HQ is looking for an experienced qualitative researcher to join them!

The role: Qualitative Research and Insights Strategist

The role will be moulded around individuals' motivations, skills and aspirations, but here is what we're looking for in a nutshell:
- Qualitative experience – a natural people person and inquisitive mind, you have proven running depths, focus groups, shop-along, ethnography, online communities and/or workshops.
- Hands-on researchers – who have exposure to all elements of projects, from proposals to presentations, within an agency environment. You like working to pace and juggling a mix of projects.
- An entrepreneurial mindset – you love looking at problems from different perspectives, using various methodological tools and stretching your thinking.
- Top-notch writing skills – you can translate data into impactful and concise insights and tell a story in a report, blog, trend update, workshop or aesthetically pleasing presentation.
- Insight translation – you can analyse what consumers say to shape outputs beyond the obvious to land real human insights.
- An understanding of numbers – multidisciplinary in their approach to problem-solving; whilst your focus will be qual, it's an added advantage if you can design and interpret quant
