A genuinely rare opportunity for a graduate or junior researcher to join a leading research agency in the heart of buzzing Melbourne!

  • An ethnographic project looking into the reasons/behavioural factors behind risky driving

  • A choice modelling piece for a well-known insurance brand

  • A large brand measurement project for a leading bank

  • Investigating the decarbonisation and electrification of Australia for a leading energy company

What will you do?
  
You will be trained across both quantitative and qualitative research methods, gaining exposure to the full project process from brief through to presentation for a mixture of big-name consumer clients and well-known government bodies and not-for-profit organisations. You will be supported by mid and senior level talent committed to upskilling you and developing your career. Collaboration is key here, and the team don’t believe in a hierarchical environment and won’t tolerate egos. They love what they do and are looking for a driven, smart, passionate junior who will add enthusiasm, raw talent, and a sparkling personality to the team!
  
What will you need?

  • An understanding of consumer research (how, when, and why it is used, different methodologies etc.)

  • Demonstrable understanding of and ideally some experience in primary quant and qual methods (surveys, interviews, ethnography, focus groups etc)

  • Experience analysing data, ideally using the likes of Excel, Q, SPSS

  • A genuine passion for market research and a desire to forge a career delivering brand and business changing insights

  • Great attention to detail and time management

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A great personality! Someone who wants to enjoy coming to work and getting to know their colleagues
