Graduate Research Consultant - Break into insights strategy!

Job description

This is it. Your breakthrough to a career in market and social research.

We’re offering the chance to join an exclusive formal internship program rotating across teams to maximise your exposure to different types of consumer/social insights challenges, clients, research methodologies and ways of thinking.

At a Leading Market & Social Research Company, we promise you’ll learn all the tricks of the trade such as:

  • Qualitative Research methods – you’ll start out by organising and observing and within 6 months you’ll be conducting depth interviews and honing your facilitation skills to ultimately run groups/workshops

  • Quantitative Research methods – you’ll build your knowledge of survey design for a range of ad hoc and tracking research programs to evaluate brand, develop comms strategy, innovate products and services etc.

  • Analytical & Storytelling skills – you’ll love digging into a data set to make evidence-based decisions. You’ll learn to weave your insights in to compelling strategic recommendations that make a big difference to people, communities, and businesses.

  • Client Consulting skills – The goal is to become an influential consultant confident in how you communicate with clients, dig into their needs, and meet their objectives.

If you land this role, you’ll get home from work buzzing about how you’re helping a major bank track brand sentiment, the government improve behaviour & usage of emergency services, or an energy provider strive towards a greener future! You’ll also bang on about your buzzy office in South Yarra, lovely international colleagues who share ideas, celebrate successes, sit together for monthly lunch and learn sessions, have cool team traditions (often foodie related) and socials.

What profile are we looking for?

  • An internship or some prior work experience in a research/data related role.
